About Us
Our Leaders & History
Beacon and Lighthouse Ministries UK was founded in October 2014 by General Overseer Bishop Richard Parkinson and Apostle Michelle Parkinson. What began as a vision in their home has grown into a Spirit-filled, Bible-based international ministry.
In February 2015, both founders were ordained as Pastors. In October 2019, Bishop Richard was consecrated as General Overseer, and in February 2023, Apostle Michelle was consecrated into her office. Together, they continue to serve as servant-leaders, guiding the ministry with prayer, compassion, and the Word of God.

Since its establishment, Beacon and Lighthouse Ministries UK has expanded beyond its UK headquarters to plant five international branches in:

Our Vision
Our vision is to be a Beacon - shining the light of Christ into a dark and troubled world, and a Lighthouse - a refuge for all nations where people can be saved, healed, delivered, and set free.
Built on prayer, discipleship, and the Spirit-filled Word of God, we are a church without walls, equipping believers everywhere to walk in their God-given purpose and fulfil the Great Commission of Jesus Christ— Matthew 28:18–20.
Our Focus on Community & Families
We are more than a church, we are a family and a community. Our mission has always been to reach the lost, the broken, and the hurting with compassion and faith, proclaiming that everybody is somebody.
In the UK, our community programmes include a Food Bank, After-School Club, Judo Fitness, prayer ministries, and family support. These services demonstrate our belief that the Gospel must be lived out through action.
Youth Ministries
Beacon and Lighthouse Ministries UK is deeply committed to raising and equipping the next generation. Under the leadership of Renae Parkinson (Youth Leader) & Jamel Parkinson (Assistant Youth Lead), our Youth Ministry empowers young people with the tools, teachings, and friendships they need to navigate faith, education, and life in today’s world.
We believe in giving young people a strong foundation in Christ while also preparing them to succeed academically and socially, helping them grow into confident, faith-filled leaders.
